Prof Ribbans works as one of ten Orthopaedic Consultants in the Trauma and Orthopaedic Department at Northampton General Hospital.

The Hospital serves a population of approximately 350,000 people. The Unit provides a comprehensive Trauma service and covers most aspects of Elective Orthopaedic work.

The Unit trains Specialist Registrars from the Oxford and Leicester Training Schemes.
